Recommended Reading - Business Magazines
By Ellen Thompson

Business magazines are a great source of ideas and one of the ways I keep up with the latest trends. And at $12 per year, the cost of the average subscription, they are also one of the best bangs for the buck! Here's what I read on a regular basis.

Business 2.0

Hands down my favorite business magazine. Business 2.0's insights apply regardless of how established your business is. Full of ideas and especially appealing for technology entrepreneurs.

Inc.

Inc. is better suited for enterpreneurs with established businesses. The articles tend to focus on companies that are incredibly successful with revenues of several million or more. While all of the ideas may not apply, Inc. is still good "aspirational reading" for the 99% of us with smaller enterprises.

Wired

I think that Wired is targeted to the 20 something male, and about half the issues makes this 30 something female feel left out in the cold. However, the other issues make up for it. Wired keeps knowledgable about technology - both what is available now, and what disruptions are coming down the pike.
